Web Designer Position
Fast growing, full-service brand and web development firm is looking for a talented graphic designer with a great eye and keen sense of style. If you have proven print production skills and some knowledge of web, can execute a creative vision as well as you can take a concept and run with it, please send your resume along with samples of your best work. Years of experience would be nice, but talent speaks for itself. We like clean, professional looking designs that work well for businesses. If you can do that, we’re interested.
Experience:
- 2+ years work experience
- Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent preferred, but not necessary if experience and portfolio warrant
- Must have experience in both print and web design
Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat & Dreamweaver
- Be able to use a Mac and OS X
- Sound understanding of typography
- Must be able to take a project from concept through to completion, including prepress formatting
- Good knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS is a must; ability to code is a plus
- Must be able to work well with a large group as well as individually
- Ability to do simple (or advanced) illustrations and hand typography is a big plus
